We are hiring a Technical Author to work on Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and help create top-quality documentation for the aviation industry.
Job Description: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Technical Author , your job will involve:
Writing and updating Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and Troubleshooting Manuals (TSM) .
Working with important Airbus tools like:
- DACAS
- Arbortext Editor
- GIPSY
- GIDOCA , and others.
Using your deep knowledge of Airframe, Cabin, and Systems ATA Chapters to create accurate content.
Following S1000D and iSpec 2200 standards for aviation documentation.
Analyzing technical data and criteria carefully and correctly.
Collaborating with a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality documents.
What Qualifications Do You Need?
A Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering .
1–3 years of relevant experience in technical authoring for aviation.
Strong communication skills — being able to explain technical things clearly.
A proactive attitude — ready to learn and solve problems.
A good understanding of aviation technical language and standards.
