Who You Are
- Graduate or Diploma holder in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of proven experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
- Expert in creating viral content—especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other trending visual/video-first formats.
- Adept at developing engaging content strategies and adapting quickly to digital trends.
- Ready to provide flexible, round-the-clock support when needed to keep our social channels vibrant and responsive.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Planning: Develop and execute a robust content plan centered on Reels, Shorts, Stories, Carousels, and other trending formats.
- Viral Campaign Management: Take complete ownership of the ideation-to-execution lifecycle for viral social campaigns—including concept, scriptwriting, basic shooting/editing, posting, and promotion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with in-house and external design/video creators to ensure the production of high-quality, thumb-stopping content.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze content performance using data insights to fine-tune creative output for maximum engagement and reach.
- Community Management: Actively engage with audiences via comments, DMs, polls, stickers, and other community features to build a loyal community around the brand.
- Trend Research: Stay ahead of viral trends, meme culture, influencer content, and the evolving creator economy.
- Benchmarking: Regularly benchmark content and strategies against top-performing brands and creators, implementing learnings for growth and innovation.
- Employee Advocacy: Promote and amplify employee-generated content, highlighting stories and talents from within the organization.
Skills & Success Indicators
- Demonstrated record of consistent audience growth and boost in engagement rates across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Ability to lead at least one viral ‘Hero’ campaign every quarter, measured by reach and engagement benchmarks.
- Steady output of trending Reels/Shorts with high viewer completion rates.
- Aspire to rank #1 among India-based ESPs in overall social media performance.
- Pursue award recognition in digital/social media categories within a year.
