About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Fraud Analytics Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about data, problem-solving, and leveraging analytics to detect and prevent fraud. You’ll work on analyzing large datasets, building fraud detection logic, and supporting the team in safeguarding business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify suspicious patterns, anomalies, and potential fraudulent activities
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze fraud-related data
  • Use Python and analytical techniques to build reports, dashboards, and models for fraud detection
  • Collaborate with senior team members on fraud monitoring, rule creation, and risk assessments
  • Support the development of analytical frameworks and strategies to improve fraud prevention systems
  • Document findings, methodologies, and provide actionable insights

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related discipline) from a top-tier institute
  • Strong skills in SQL and Python
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of statistics and data analysis fundamentals
  • Strong communication and reporting skills

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Prior projects, internships, or coursework related to Fraud Analytics or Risk Analytics
  • Experience working with fraud detection tools or financial datasets
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts
