Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aero engine domain with expertise in stress analysis using industry-standard tools. This role requires proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural analysis, and mechanical engineering fundamentals. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stress analysis using ANSYS and HyperMesh tools.
- Conduct FE meshing and analysis setup processes.
- Apply fundamental knowledge of Finite Element Stress Analysis, Static, and Modal Analysis.
- Utilize APDL programming for structural simulations.
- Perform static analysis of metallic and composite structures.
- Develop detailed stress analysis reports.
- Work with Non-linear Analysis including material, geometric, and contact non-linearities.
- Ensure compliance with structural analysis quality processes.
- Utilize CAD software and perform hand calculations when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in stress analysis, preferably in the aero engine domain.
- Proficiency in ANSYS, HyperMesh, and NX Nastran.
- Hands-on experience with Finite Element Modeling and Analysis.
- Basic understanding of Solid Mechanics, Machine Design, and Fatigue.
- Working knowledge of LS-DYNA and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Access VBA and APDL scripting.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics and structural analysis processes.
