About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aero engine domain with expertise in stress analysis using industry-standard tools. This role requires proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural analysis, and mechanical engineering fundamentals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis using ANSYS and HyperMesh tools.
  • Conduct FE meshing and analysis setup processes.
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of Finite Element Stress Analysis, Static, and Modal Analysis.
  • Utilize APDL programming for structural simulations.
  • Perform static analysis of metallic and composite structures.
  • Develop detailed stress analysis reports.
  • Work with Non-linear Analysis including material, geometric, and contact non-linearities.
  • Ensure compliance with structural analysis quality processes.
  • Utilize CAD software and perform hand calculations when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in stress analysis, preferably in the aero engine domain.
  • Proficiency in ANSYS, HyperMesh, and NX Nastran.
  • Hands-on experience with Finite Element Modeling and Analysis.
  • Basic understanding of Solid Mechanics, Machine Design, and Fatigue.
  • Working knowledge of LS-DYNA and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Access VBA and APDL scripting.
  • Knowledge of aerodynamics and structural analysis processes.
